The originality of the project lies in the collaboration between the faculties of Philosophy and Letters and Applied Science.
Critical study of the photographic material gathered by the historians and the practical use of this material by the engineers gave rise to a fascinating re-evaluation of their reliability. The vast array of images created for the Exposition might lead one to believe that no secrets would subsist. The transposition of these images into 3D, however, revealed misleading official plans, pavilions which were impossible to reconstitute, and retouched photographs.
Designed to be both instructive and entertaining, the 3D activities encourage visitors to undertake a critical evaluation of historical sources.
