Rediscovering the exposition

In 1910 Brussels hosted the prestigious Universal Exposition, an event which has now been largely forgotten. Ten years later, the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) occupied the site on the Solbosch plateau which had been left vacant at the end of this great event. As part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the foundation of the ULB, the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, the Faculty of Applied Science, and Extension ULB decided to commemorate the centenary of the Universal Exposition with an exhibition which combines historical research and an entertaining mode of presentation offering numerous interactive activities.
